Areas of Practice:

Attorney Melissa S. Treneer concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, commercial lending and business law.

 

She represents commercial and residential lending institutions, borrowers, sellers, corporations, limited liability companies and other business owners in all transactional matters, with a focus on title issues and title insurance. She also represents business clients on zoning and land-use matters, liquor license permitting and general business advice.

 

Mrs. Treneer graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in sociology and a certificate in criminology and law. She was also a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma, Delta Alpha Pi and Alpha Kappa Delta honor societies as an undergraduate. In 2003, she received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a member of the American Bar Association Law Student Division.

 

Prior to joining Doherty, Dugan, Cannon, Raymond & Weil, P.C., Mrs. Treneer was senior associate for a Greater Boston law firm with a concentration on real estate and residential and commercial lending, including bank representation and buyer and seller representation.

 

A native of Taunton, Mrs. Treneer lives in North Attleboro and enjoys spending time with her husband, son and twin daughters.
