Attorney Lauren Killman applies the skills she has obtained working with clients in real estate, business, and complex estate planning to create multifaceted and individualized plans for her clients. Her in-depth experience in these areas allows her to expertly guide businesses, families, and individuals in defining and achieving their goals and protecting their assets.

Ms. Killman assists businesses through their varied stages including formation, intellectual property protection, and business succession planning. She also guides families in all aspects of estate planning, as well as administration of trusts and estates. Attorney Killman has extensive experience in real estate transactions as well, which allows her to advise both businesses and individuals on the topic, and offer creative solutions to property planning.

Prior to joining Doherty, Dugan, Cannon, Raymond & Weil, PC, Ms. Killman worked at a small firm for many years, beginning as a clerk and ending as a partner. While guiding and protecting clients are her focus, her experience has also taught her the value of building, sustaining, and expanding a counsellor’s relationships within a firm, its clients, and its community.

Attorney Killman has proudly provided volunteer legal services throughout her career, including serving the Avon Council on Aging for 15 years at their monthly “ask the lawyer” clinic. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and her Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law. She’s admitted to the Massachusetts bar. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is a seminar speaker on topics including planning for those with special needs, planning for newly retired, real estate matters, and various topics of interest to the senior community.
