Attorney Gabe Bell is an experienced trial attorney handling a variety of civil litigation, including employment matters, probate and trust litigation, product liability, construction defect, property damage, general liability claims, and personal injury. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bell was a principal at a well-respected Boston firm where he focused on medical malpractice and employment claims.
Mr. Bell’s employment practice includes advising clients on the full range of employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, hiring, performance management, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, terminations, reductions in force, separation and severance agreements, employment policies and handbooks, internal and agency investigations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and restrictive covenant agreements. He also regularly advises clients on litigation avoidance techniques involving compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws.
Mr. Bell also represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, builders, and property owners in complex construction defect litigation and bodily injury construction claims, including actions based in negligence, breach of warranty, indemnification, subrogation, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and contract disputes.
From 2015-2019, Mr. Bell was selected, based on a vote of all licensed attorneys in Massachusetts and a review by an independent blue ribbon panel, as a “Super Lawyer,” as published annually in Boston Magazine and New England Super Lawyers. Previously, Mr. Bell was selected as a “Rising Star,” each year from 2010-2014. Mr. Bell has also received an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating™ by Martindale-Hubbell® reflecting the highest available rating by his peers for ethical standards and legal ability.
Mr. Bell received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He received his BA from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Bell also spent a year studying at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University.
Mr. Bell is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Trial Attorneys of America.
